How to iron a patch

It only takes a few steps to iron a patch on your favorite clothing item, bag, hat, or pretty much anything! Follow me and see how to apply your new patch on your vintage jean jacket in less than a minute.

Step 1: Get your jean jacket ready! Flatten it out so there’s no creases.

Step 2: Place your patch on the desired spot.

Step 3: Put a pillow case (if you have a sloth one, that’s even better!) over the patch to prevent your patch from overheating. Heat up the iron to the ‘cotton’ setting. Place the iron on the patch and firmly press down for about 20 seconds. Lift up as needed and press down again on areas that need more heat.

Step 4: Flip over your jacket. You’ll do the same for the inner part.

Step 5: Put the pillow case over the inner-side and repeat step 3.
